Groups

Groups are used to assign customized policies to a set of devices.

If an endpoint is not a member of a specific group, it will automatically be assigned to the Default policy. Devices can only be a member of one group.

Changes that effect endpoint policy association will occur immediately upon save and will be picked up by Data Defense on next communication with the console.

Add:

Add a new named group. Enter a unique group name and choose a previously defined policy to associate to the group's members. Next choose the devices that should belong to this group that will be assigned the specified policy. Devices already associated to a policy will be greyed out and not select-able.

Remove:

Remove a group. Removing a device group with currently assigned endpoints will automatically re-assign those endpoints to the default group.

Edit:

Select an existing named group from the list to edit the policy association.
